Hello everyone!

It’s been a while since I have posted on this blog. I tried to switch over to a self-hosted blog and It actually turned out worse.

For the time being, I am going to stick with this site.

My Training has been going great. I am down to 158 lbs and today I ran 3 miles in 19:30.

The warm weather is quickly approaching and I have a couple huge races planned for May and June.

But most importantly, I recently got engaged!

The Future Wife

The Future Wife

She’s not a runner, but she makes a great meatloaf.

I also have a 2nd workout book coming out in a month or so, and I plan on starting a running website.

Thanks!
John

The World is changing and it is changing fast.  Job security and unionization has been replaced by a “gig-economy”.  The average millenial worker is either going to have several jobs over their lifetime or they will have several jobs at the same time.

So what is my advice?

BECOME INCOME INDEPENDENT FIRST

You need to have $700-2000 a month in monthly interest.

You can live almost everywhere in the world with just $700-2000 a month.

Can you live in NYC? Of course, that is what I pay now.  Of course, you might need a roommate, but you can definitely live.

Dividends, CD’s, Bonds, Real Estate, Residuals.  There are NUMEROUS different ways to reach $700-2000 a month.

I don’t care what you need to do, you just need to do it.

2 jobs, 3 jobs.  Two part time jobs.

If you are under 30-years old, there is no excuse for not picking up a 2nd job.

I am working 2 jobs now and working out almost 9x a week.

I am going to turn 37 at the end of this year and I am almost at $1000-1300 a month.

What is my plan going forward?

Besides my 2nd book that is coming out this summer, I would like to get up to $2,000 a month.  At $2,000 a month I might consider relocating out of NYC and I am already researching multi-family properties outside of the Northeast.

Take my advice.  Becoming income independent first.

The global economy is changing and what worked for your parents is mostly likely already obsolete.

Any questions!

John
